The American Revolution

 King George put the stamp act down and other taxes it made people really mad. So they had the Boston Massacre. When the king put tax on tea the Sons of Liberty poured tea in the harbor. After Paul Revere made a horse ride around the town when the British came to fight. But the Americans were ready. After they made the Declaration of Independence. But king George hated it so much they had the revolutionary war. For a long time of fighting , the Americans finally got independence from Britain. After the war George Washington became president.
